2024 Pinot Noir (Henty)

2024 vintage growing season was a warmer season,  that finished with an extreme heat blast, that made this fruit more ripe than usual. 

The fruit was crushed and fermented with 50% whole bunch fruit, with indigenous yeasts. The wine was matured in french oak barriques and is medium to full bodied.

Mid magenta in color, flavours of Morello cherry, with tar, mint/eucalyptus, earthiness, and a hint of capsicum.

Made to improve with age over the next 5-10 years, though drinking nicely now.
