2024 Shiraz (Great Western)

We sourced this fruit from the Sugarloaf Creek Vineyard in Great Western, as machine harvested fruit/ berries only.

We fermented it naturally with wild yeasts in our winery, and matured this release in an American Oak barrique.

This is our second barrel of this wine bottled.

Deep magenta in color, blackberry jam, a hint of anise, vanilla and black pepper

Drinking nicely now and made to age well for the medium term.
