Piquette

The name Piquette, originated from France where vineyard labourers were heard to have made this beverage from the winery's grape pressings. 
Our Piquette was made from our Riesling and Sav Blanc grape pressings which were rehydrated for 2 days,with our rainwater, then pressed and fermented by wild yeasts. It was fermented in the bottle to make it lightly sparkling.
People who taste our Piquette often describe it as: between cider and champagne. It has a combination of each variety's character, with passionfruit flavours with a dry finish.
Best served chilled, in a glass!
